Alberta J. "Bert" Avery, 66 of Whitneyville, Pa., passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.
She was born Sept. 4, 1946, in Noxen, the daughter of Clyde and Frances Sweezy Scouten.
